Description

Description: The dataset consists of primary, experimental data collected by RWI, Passau University and IBandC in Rwanda in 2015. In an experiment, payment schemes (7 days, 6 weeks, 5 months) were randomely assigned to 323 households, who were then offered three types of solar kits for purchase using a Becker-DeGroot-Marschak auction design. The dataset includes information on willigness to pay for the three solar kits, purchase information, and on the socioeconomic background of the households.
